Dear Students, Parents and Educators.
We all work for the student’s success and their welfare. We are aware that most of the students do well in internal exams and board exams but not in National Level Competitive Exams. Out of the 50,000 (approximate Maths group + Biology group) School toppers who score more than 90% in CBSE board exam, only 5000 students clear JEE-NEET in first attempt.
Why the majority of remaining hardworking and brilliant school toppers are not able to clear JEE-NEET? There are several reasons. In our country, from grade 6 to 10 full Science is taught by a graduate or post-graduate teacher. A Biology post-graduate teacher may be having expertise in Biology but not in Physics or Chemistry Chapters. Tuitions too are carried out by one teacher. Moreover, all the teachers may not have good expertise in all the chapters.
In most cases question setting, and evaluation are also done by the same teacher who teach. Hence, difficult questions with HOTS will not be asked in the exams from chapters where teachers’ knowledge strength is low relatively .
Students do well in such internal exams which makes everyone happy. However, students develop hidden Grey Areas. Our research reveals the fact that in JEE and NEET, questions asked based on such hidden grey areas are spoiling even the hardworking and brilliant students results. Don’t we need a remedy for this drawback?
So, we suggest the following:
Let students learn from anywhere. A continuous Third Eye Learning Measurement Test right from grade 6 to 12 to identify the stronger and weaker concepts/chapters is need of the time. Based on the report, Chapter Specialists can be engaged to for personal support. Thanks to Team Studyvita for developing the Learning Measurement Test Platform and Personalised support system and the Learning Recovery Program.
We all are aware that last three academic years were disturbed due to the Pandemic. The learning loss cannot be recovered through a crash course. Hence a three- year well structured program is in place to identify the learning loss and support to cement it.
Need of Mentorship.
In India, majority of students are depending on school teachers and local Tutors/entrance coaches who teach single subject. They all work independently without any collaboration or co-ordination. This leads to overlapping of chapters and tests which bring additional stress among students.
Hence a Mentor is essential for guiding the students for the holistic improvement of all subjects. The below list of students is the proof of effective coaching along with mentorship.
I request all parents to enroll your wards for coaching and mentorship immediately. Interested parents can join us as Parent mentor & Ambassador and guide the parents. I also welcome educators to come forward and take the charge of education and become Ambassadors of Quality Education imparted. Studyvita does not believe in celebrity marketing.
Let educators and parents be the brand ambassadors of such education. I seek the collaboration of all institutions, educators and parents for achieving our common goal.
